ANGEL IN WHITE

This is the 1st song James ever wrote, back in 1988.

(Inspired by the early faster Dire Straits songs like Lady Writer & Down to the Waterline).

SOME PEOPLE:

Many people like this song the best of all – it’s sad and timeless.

Fact: Part 2 is the original song which is a bit too short, written in about 1999 – part 1 was written 20 years later.

NO MORE 60s LOVE SONGS?

This is James’ most popular song of all – ‘driving in my car’ is from influence of Springsteen.

BABY, CAN I LOVE YOU TONIGHT?

This one was written with a ‘Dire Straits’ feel to it (like Expresso Love) and is one of the most popular.

NOBODY GETS OUTTA HERE ALIVE (Tribute to Jim Morrison)

Many people like this one – the title comes from a book about JM and James thought it would make a good song.

WHAT ABOUT TONIGHT?

This is a  favourite and a nice sad cowboy-style ballad. James was thinking about Bob Dylan’s Nashville Skyline Album when writing this one.
